The EuroVelo 9 cycle route climbs up to 952 metres to Mönichkirchen. Those who reach the summit on the 1,930 kilometre long stretch from Danzig to Pula should pay it the appropriate appreciation. For example with a cyclist on the terrace of the Sonnenhof Hechtl.

Do you fancy something different? Just 200 metres from the guest house, the 4-seat ecliptic lift will take you to Mönichkirchen Schwaig in comfort - perfect for roller and mountain kart journeys. Those who enjoy something more leisurely can also explore the Schwaigen - as the pastures in the Wechsel region were named - along the many hiking routes in the Wechsel region.
