Piesting ski meadow
Without having to rely on sufficient snow, you can ski down the slopes on the Piesting ski meadow from December until April. The slope is also well connected by train, as it is only a few minutes' walk from the Piesting Harzwerk stop. On the artificial snow mats, visitors can prepare themselves perfectly for their upcoming skiing vacation. Use of the Piesting ski slope is free of charge, and ski lessons are often offered for children, with equipment available to hire on site.
Piestingtal cycle path
In the warmer months, the well-known and not without reason popular route of the Piestingtal cycle path attracts families in particular to take a trip by bike. The cycle paths lined by the beautiful Biedermeier Valley are asphalted and flat throughout and are therefore ideal for a bike tour, even with smaller cyclists.
