Route description Sonnenpromenade

Starting panel castle square, left uphill past the Rudolfvilla, turn right, along the street into the Schneedörfl district, past the Waldschlössl, straight along the Sonnenpromenade to Payerbach – Werning district. Right downhill, cross the Südbahn track, immediately turn right onto the "Heinzelmännchen-Weg" to Payerbach-Reichenau station. Past the station slightly downhill along the Südbahn to the Schwarzviaduct. Cross the federal road, over the wooden bridge - the Fischerpromenade back to the castle square Reichenau.

A2 to Seebenstein junction - S6 to Gloggnitz - B27 to the castle square in Reichenau

Parking

Parking spaces are available in the area of the castle square.

Take the Südbahn to Payerbach-Reichenau. Buses run at regular intervals between Payerbach-Reichenau station and the starting point.

Equipment

Wear suitable clothing and good running shoes. Remember rain and sun protection. Bring enough to drink.

Running tips:
Start slowly to gently get your circulation going. After about 10 minutes take a short break with stretching exercises. Vary the pace to increase performance gains. Let the run end gently and don't stretch too intensely afterwards!
