Route description Augenbrünnlrunde
Starting panel Schlossplatz, pass to the left behind Reichenau Castle to the riverside path, turn right into it and follow the path to the Hirschwang district. Pass the satellite station on the left to Hans Beran-Straße, continue right, then turn left over the two pedestrian bridges to the federal road. Cross this and continue left, then turn right into Augenbrünnl-Gasse, pass the barrier and go uphill along the forest path to the Augenbrünnl. Return a little along the same way, then turn right over a small wooden bridge. Now follow the path above the ditch to Trautenberg, continue right to the settlement, follow Konrad Kain-Gasse to Trautenbergstraße, turn right past the farmhouse, shortly afterwards left onto a forest path downhill, across the meadow to Stoier farm, pass it on the left onto state road L135, continue left to the road junction, right slightly uphill, before the crest turn left downhill past the football field to the Kobald guesthouse. Cross the federal road and go downhill along Neubaugasse to the intersection, turn left into Raxstraße, continue to the weir. ATTENTION: the weir was washed away in a storm, a detour is being worked on. Cross the river over the weir footbridge and return to the starting point along the river to the right.

Parking
Parking is available in the area of the Schlossplatz.
Take the Südbahn to Payerbach-Reichenau. Buses run at regular intervals between Payerbach-Reichenau station and the starting point.
