Hiking to Jagasitz: A nature experience
The starting point of the hike to Jagasitz is at the parking lot of the Myrafälle, where nature impresses with spectacular waterfalls. From there, the path first leads over bridges and boardwalks along the waterfalls to the main path. Then it goes uphill over field paths and smaller trails, through Kreuth to Jagasitz. At the viewpoint, the Wiener Alpen Viewer offers a panoramic view of the region and the Schneeberg. Even though the Jagasitz guesthouse is closed, the view is still worthwhile. For adventurers, an additional hike to the Steinwandklamm and the Türkenloch is recommended.
Refreshment options: Gasthaus Myrastubn, famous among others for the delicious baked or gratinated pancakes.

Route description Hike to Jagasitz (from Muggendorf)
Our hike starts at the Myrafälle hiking and water world. We walk over the bridges and paths along the Myrafälle up to the country road. We walk a bit down the right side of this road and then turn left up the path. We reach the road again and turn right uphill. Following this road would also lead to the Jagasitz guesthouse. However, we turn right onto the path to stay on our route. Going straight ahead, we finally reach the Jagasitz guesthouse via a last section of road.
