Description

Gleißenfeld station in the village of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Neunkirchen welcomes its passengers with a fabulous view of the Türkensturz castle ruins. In the waiting shelter at the single-track station, timetable notices and loudspeaker announcements provide information about current rail services. Some parking spaces are also available on site.

The already fantastic region around the Seebenstein Adventure Park is just a stone's throw away from the Gleißenfeld stop. Numerous hiking routes, such as the hike to Seebenstein Castle & Türkensturz ruins, lead through the woods to the impressive Türkensturz castle ruins and the well-secured Pittental via ferrata, which promises relaxation and variety far away from everyday life.
