Description

With a fabulous view of the Türkensturz castle ruins, Gleißenfeld station in the village of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Neunkirchen welcomes its passengers. In the waiting shelter at the single-track station, timetable posters and loudspeaker announcements provide information about current rail traffic. Some parking spaces are also available on site.

Numerous hiking routes such as thehike to Seebenstein Castle & Ruin Türkensturz lead through the woods to the impressive castle ruin Türkensturz and to the well secured Pittentaler Klettersteig, which promises relaxation and variety far away from everyday life.
