Schulfreiraum Grünbach
Children’s playgroundDescription
The outdoor school space at VS and EMS Grünbach offers a view over the entire valley. An old stock of fruit trees and large trees as well as an existing biotope and mound bed give the schoolyard a structure. The play equipment has been well integrated into the existing landscape. There is a nest swing and a hammock in the shady area. A specially made wooden bench meanders between the fruit trees.
The stilt house in the shape of a coal mining tower (Grünbach coat of arms) with a wide slide and an adjoining climbing and balancing course challenges the children. The bouncy harness rounds off the
the range of activities. A large, open area provides the opportunity to hold outdoor sports lessons and school parties. A small bridge has been added to the biotope and a seating platform has been added to the raised bed. Many sweet and flowering shrubs have been planted in the school playground.
