Schlöglmühl station is located on the route of the Semmering Railway, which was built as part of the first high mountain railroad in Europe along the Southern Railway. Two railroad tracks can be safely reached here via an underpass.

- Trains to Bernhardsthal are also served.
- There is a bus stop two minutes' walk away with connections to Gloggnitz.
The history
As the oldest high mountain railroad in Europe, the Semmering Railway paints a tranquil picture through the idyllic landscapes of Lower Austria. More than 100 arched bridges, 16 viaducts and 14 tunnels offer rail travelers a vivid panorama on the line, which opened in 1854 and has been a UNESCO World Hertige site since 1998.
