Ortmann station

Ortmann station in the Lower Austrian district of Wiener Neustadt-Land is located in a district of the market town of Piesting in the beautiful Piestingtal valley. With the typical waiting shelters on both platforms, rail travelers are offered protection from wind and weather. The station also offers plenty of parking spaces for cars and mopeds, as well as some parking spaces for bicycles, making it easy to board and change trains.

• It serves trains to the main station in Wiener Neustadt.
• Trains to Gutenstein also stop here.
• There is a bus stop directly at the station with connecting buses to Pernitz and Puchberg am Schneeberg.

High Mandling

The Hohe Mand ling unmistakably frames the region of the northern Piestingtal valley. A hike up the steep mountain can be completed in an hour on foot from Ortmann train station. The densely wooded area can also be explored on one of the numerous circular hikes, for example from Pernitz to Reichental over the 967 meters of the Hohe Mandling, always accompanied by the legend of the ghost wolf.
