Berghaus Hochschneeberg

Lodge / hut

Description

A visit to the Berghaus Hochschneeberg, which is directly connected to the terminus of the Schneebergbahn (1,800 m), is well worthwhile. Not only the beautiful location with a magnificent panoramic view as far as the Hungarian lowlands, but also the very interesting building designed by theater architects Helmer & Fellner is well worth a visit. The exhibition "Schneeberg around 1900" is not dependent on the weather and is ideal for groups.

For hikers, the Berghaus is the starting point for the one-hour circular hiking trail "Paradise of Scenic Views" and for gourmets there is Tafelspitz with Alpine sorrel, followed by Schneebergkrapfen.

Opening hours: Open daily from the end of April to mid-November

Overnight stay (beds / campsites): 55 / -
