Burg Feistritz

Feistritz Castle rises high above Feistritz am Wechsel - a medieval fortified building that has grown over the centuries into today's castle ensemble with an arcaded courtyard, knights' hall, chapel and library. Presumably built in the 12th century, the complex still tells the story of eight centuries of Austrian history.

Located just 80 kilometers south of Vienna, the castle with its extensive park is a harmonious stage for concentrated work and special occasions. Overnight stays are possible for closed groups; the castle and two neighboring cavalier houses offer rooms as well as spacious living and working areas. Groups of 20 participants or more can stay overnight in the historic rooms of the castle or in the Kavaliershäuser.

A highlight of the cultural calendar is the "Harriet & Friends" chamber music festival: Top-class classical music is performed every summer in the halls of the castle and in the atmospheric Alte Reitschule. The riding school - a large wooden building from the early 19th century - serves as an atmospheric venue for concerts, workshops and parties.
