At around 1,000 meters above sea level, the Wechsel panoramic trail stretches like a white ribbon across the mountain ranges of the Vienna Alps. 26 kilometers of perfectly groomed trails connect the two cross-country skiing centers Steyersberg and Mönichkirchen - and live up to their name: always accompanied by magnificent views as far as the Schneeberg, Rax and into Styria.
The trail offers both classic tracks and a skating variant and is a tip for all those who want to combine a sporting challenge and enjoyment of nature when cross-country skiing. Leisurely introductory loops allow for a gentle start, while the entire route with its ascents and descents challenges experienced cross-country skiers.
