Vinoduct

Description

The name Vinodukt stands for a vinotheque in a special place: it is located directly in the Schwarzaviadukt in Payerbach - the longest viaduct of the historic Semmering Railway.

With the help of six swiveling and rotating projectors, an impressive full-room projection offers an insight into the origins and significance of the Semmering Railway - the first standard-gauge mountain railroad in Europe, which was built between 1848 and 1854.

Afterwards, you can continue your culinary journey in the Vinothek , where guests can enjoy a selection of wines from the wine regions along the southern railway line from Vienna to Trieste.
