A visit to the Mariahilfberg pilgrimage church can be nicely combined with a picturesque circular hike around the Residenzberg.
Description
In Gutenstein, culture and nature come together. Visitors will find a fire brigade museum, the forest farmers' museum, and Hoyos Castle, as well as the parish church and numerous chapels. The Raimund memorial site and the Gutenstein Festival complete the cultural offerings. But Gutenstein is also surrounded by beautiful nature. On Mariahilfberg is the pilgrimage church with the Servite monastery. A visit to the church can be perfectly combined with hikes in the peaceful nature. First over the Stations of the Cross, past the Raimundsitz and a grotto, one arrives back at the church complex.
