Description

The Hengsttal on-demand stop is located on the continuation line of the Schneebergbahn. The original Schneebergdörfel station was renamed in 2008 and owes its name to the "Hengst", the foothills of the Schneeberg. This year, the station was rebuilt to mark the opening of a gallery by the artist Voka.

Route information

  • Hengsttal station can be reached in just 4 minutes from Puchberg am Schneeberg on the Schneebergbahn Salamander and Nostalgia trains. The station is located on the continuation line of the Schneebergbahn, which is one of three rack railroads in Austria.

Gallery & Studio VOKA

The spontaneous realist works of the Puchberg artist VOKA are presented at the Hengsttal art stop. True to his origins, modern works of art meet the idyllic natural landscapes as a backdrop.
