Rose garden Pitten
Description
The rose community of Pitten in the Bucklige Welt is home to Lower Austria's second largest rose garden: on 1,600 square meters, visitors can enjoy the splendor and fragrance of the so-called "Queen of Flowers" free of charge.
Around 2,600 rose bushes bloom from May to October. From the potato rose to the English rose and the noble rose, over a hundred different varieties can be discovered and sniffed out here.
Spacious rose beds and idyllic seating areas such as rose arches with stone benches make a walk in the rose garden something special. The annual highlight of the Garden of the Senses is the Rose Garden Festival. Every summer, music and an artistic program are offered in the rose garden.
