- the Heroes' Chapel, which commemorates the fallen Otterthal soldiers in the two world wars.
- the historic Otterthal elementary school. Before he became world-famous, the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein taught here from 1924 to 1926. He also wrote the last book to be printed during his lifetime in Otterthal.
- Marienweg(stage Kirchberg am Wechsel - Payerbach an der Rax): The hike of around 6.5 hours takes you from Kirchberg am Wechsel past the Hermannshöhle cave via Rams - and on via Raach am Hochgebirge, Maria Schutz and Schottwien to Payerbach.
- WAB - Regional Route I(Kirchberg/Wechsel - Maria Schutz): The almost five-hour route tour leads from Kirchberg am Wechsel to the Maria Schutz pilgrimage church.
