Neunkirchen station in the municipality of the same name is located on the Südbahn line in the industrial district of Lower Austria. The large reception building welcomes rail passengers and offers publicly accessible sanitary facilities, a ticket machine, a waiting room and digital train destination displays.
More than 320 parking spaces in the Park & Ride facility and over 200 bicycle parking spaces make it easy to transfer to the train.

- Regional trains run to Payerbach-Reichenau and Vienna Floridsdorf.
- Trains to Mürzzuschlag and Bernhardsthal are also available.
- Bus connections to the center of Neunkirchen, as well as to Pitten and Grünberg am Schneeberg are available directly from the station.
- In addition to the connection to the Südbahn line, the Neunkirchen stop is also on the Willendorf-Neunkirchen local line. Passenger traffic on this branch line, which was mainly built to transport coal, was discontinued as early as 1933. Freight traffic was discontinued in 1942.
