Route description Neunkirchen Cultural Route

We start the city walk at the town hall in the city center. Then we continue toward the pedestrian zone and around the main square, where many remarkable buildings await us. One of them is the Trinity column, which was restored in 2018. Not far from there, the main square fountain is waiting to be admired. Another highlight awaits us on the other side of the main square—the Catholic parish church of the Assumption of Mary. We continue along Talgasse and pass the St. John Nepomuk Chapel. The city park invites you to relax and is the next place we pass. It was opened in 1903 and is adorned with many monuments. Continuing on, we pass many splendid old buildings and places along the way. The Protestant parish church is finally on our route, followed by the Neunkirchen local history museum. Also worth seeing, and one of the last points on the cultural route, is the Lutter Chapel from the 19th century, which was renovated in 2013. We then head back toward the main square, where the sightseeing ends.
