Description
The Murtaler Höhenweg leads MTB'ers from the main square in Aspang Markt through largely untouched nature to Unterhöfen and back to the main square in Aspang via Langegg. The Murtalerhof, which you pass after about a third of the route, is particularly beautiful. The tour can be extended via the Heidstübl route to Mönichkirchen.

Route description Murtaler Höhenweg - closed
We start our tour in Aspang Markt and head south along Mönichkirchner Straße. We ride past the Murtalgräben and soon reach the Murtalerhof. We head south and then north-west towards Joglbauer. We follow the Güterweg Glatzl in the direction of Glatzen and ride via Langegg back to Aspang Markt.
Directions
Coming from Vienna A2 to exit Edlitz, B54 to Aspang-Markt.
Coming from the south, take the A2 to the Aspang exit.
Coming from the west: A1 to Steinhäusl junction, then A21, A21 to Vösendorf junction, then A2, A2 to Edlitz exit, B54 to Aspang-Markt.

There is a train and bus connection to Aspang Markt.
