Route description Kaisersteig Circular Hiking Route Gutenstein
We start at the Waldbauernmuseum and walk through the Bleichgarten towards the fire station.
At the fire station, we keep left along Längapiestingstraße next to the castle gardens until we reach the Lohmühle. Here we find a sign saying "Kaiserstieg"; we turn left over a bridge. We always keep left and see a second sign with the inscription "Kaiserstieg" (hidden and mounted too high). We continue along the Ofenbach stream to the old quarry. Again, we keep left and walk up moderately steep switchbacks to the ridge. Then we turn left and follow the path down into the village.
