Route description Hollensteinrunde

The starting point is the Prein information kiosk. Take the state road L135 downhill to the Raxalpenhof, turn right over the bridge into the Hollensteingraben. Opposite the football field turn left and continuously go uphill on the forest road. Follow this road straight ahead. Go straight ahead at the 1st crossroads – this path section is lined with several wayside shrines – then turn right downhill at the next crossroads. Pass the football field again to return to the starting point.

Safety information

Make sure the chosen route matches your experience and fitness level. Check the weather forecast in advance.

Running tips:
Start slowly to gently get your circulation going. Take a short break with stretching exercises after about 10 minutes. Vary the pace to increase performance gains. Avoid overexertion especially on steep sections; better to walk if you lack basic fitness. Follow warm-up and cool-down phases. Let the run wind down and avoid stretching too intensely afterwards!
