Hohe Wand nature park – Skywalk
Description
The Skywalk viewing terrace on the Hohe Wand is a special facility in the nature park. The viewing terrace is built into the rock and gives you the feeling of being up in the air. From here you have an impressive view into the depths and over the Wiener Alpenbogen - Arc of the Viennese Alps (trail). On a clear day, you can see as far as Lake Neusiedl.
How do you get there? The circular hike through the Hohe Wand Nature Park starts at the Nature Park Info Shop and leads directly to the petting zoo. From there, follow the RWW 2 in the direction of Gasthof Postl/Skywalk, past the deer enclosure, until you reach the road. About 200 meters further on is the turn-off to Gasthof Postl. The path leads downhill to Lange Wiese, and soon Gasthof Postl is in sight. The Skywalk viewing terrace offers impressive views.
