Höflein an der Hohen Wand
Description
The municipality of Höflein an der Hohen Wand comprises the districts of Oberhöflein, Unterhöflein and Zweiersdorf and can be described as a scenic gem. On the edge of the Steinfeld, it is beautifully nestled in the foothills of the Schneeberg at the foot of the Hohe Wand, and the variety of opportunities for relaxation, well-being and active sports (climbing) can hardly be found anywhere else. From active hiking along lush meadows and through beautiful coniferous and mixed forests to experiencing culture and nature on our themed and adventure trail, the landmark of the village is the 15th century Maria Kirchbüchl pilgrimage church, visible from afar. With its open-air Stations of the Cross, it is an attraction for our guests, with paths in the plains and hills, via ferratas on the Hohe Wand and plenty of untouched nature inviting you to linger.we are particularly proud of the fact that we can offer visitors an intact natural environment with demonstrably excellent air and water quality.
