Freibad Gutenstein

Under the motto "small but nice", the outdoor pool in Gutenstein provides refreshment on hot summer days.
In 1882, pharmacist Johann Gruber had a wooden bathhouse built with the idea of offering summer visitors to Gutenstein an opportunity to bathe and swim. The well-known Viennese architect Julius Deininger was later commissioned to replace the wooden structure with a building that would reflect Gutenstein's reputation as a prestigious spa resort.
Today, the solar-heated Gutenstein outdoor pool is open from 9 am to 7 pm in good weather from mid-June to mid-September. A toddler pool (20 cm deep) and an adult pool with a depth of around 1 meter to 1.80 meters are available.
The small canteen provides guests with regional food and drinks.
There is a playground and a volleyball court right next to the pool.
Since 2020, there has also been an ice cream stand where you can refresh yourself with a delicious ice cream on hot summer days. The ice cream stand is open from June from 10:00 - 19:30 in good weather. Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 - 20:00.
