In the heart of Reichenau an der Rax is the Blauer Spatz country house, built in the classic villa style of the 19th century. The building was extensively renovated in 2015 and now offers 7 top-renovated vacation apartments between 20 and 100 m², for 1 - 6 people. There is also a small but beautiful garden with fruit trees, berry bushes, a 30 m² wooden deck, a cozy outdoor sauna for up to 4 people and a cold water outdoor shower. A ski and bicycle cellar is also available.

A cozy and dignified country house style runs through all apartments, with furniture from 3 centuries. All apartments are not only free of carpeting, most of them have 120-year-old floorboards. In addition, all the comforts of today: cozy bathtubs for two (not in all apartments), underfloor heating in the bathroom, free Wi-Fi throughout, ultra-flat screens with satellite connection (many of them digital and therefore streaming-capable), DVD players and a selection of DVDs, etc. Pellet stoves in every apartment provide cozy warmth and firelight at the touch of a button, even when it gets a little chilly beyond winter.
