Brief description
The Feistritztal cycle path is one of the gems among the new cycle routes in the Vienna Alps in Lower Austria. With about 18 kilometers, it is a short cycle route, but this means more time to enjoy the valley idyll on the Feistritz.
Description
From EuroVelo9 at Aspang, the cycle path runs flat with two small climbs through Feistritz and Kirchberg to Otterthal until just before Trattenbach, where the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein worked as a primary school teacher.

Route description Feistritztal cycle path
From the starting point, keep to the left and follow the course of the Feistritz. We cycle through Feistritz am Wechsel, Kirchberg am Wechsel, and Otterthal to Trattenbach. There you have the opportunity to visit the exhibition "Ludwig Wittgenstein and Trattenbach".

South motorway A2 to Edlitz exit, federal road 54 to Aspang.
Parking
There is parking directly along the road (B54) in the district of Höll.

Author's tip
An absolute recommendation, even for a longer stay, is the Naturhotel Molzbachhof. The hotel itself is an experience and serves as a starting point for trips by bike or on foot in Kirchberg am Wechsel. Both the wellness area and the energy island in the Paradies-Gartl offer pleasurable relaxation. The herbs from the Paradies-Gartl have an effect both in the spa area and in the restaurant.
