Brief description
The path leads from Lanzenkirchen station along the Rosalia circular hiking route to the 15-meter-high Lanzenkirchen/Wiesen viewpoint. There, you can enjoy amazing views to Lake Neusiedl and on the other side to the first 2,000-meter peaks of the Alps including Schneeberg and Rax.
In the village, there are traditional wine taverns (Heurigen) and many other places to stop for refreshments.

Route description Circular route to the Lanzenkirchen/Wiesen viewpoint
Walk along Bahngasse, at the end of the alley turn left and then right, crossing the river towards Frohsdorf. Walk along the road past Frohsdorf Castle to Felix Chapel. The path continues on the Rosalia circular hiking route. Go straight ahead there and at the roundabout turn left to Ofenbach. Go through the village and later turn left in the forest (Großer Kaiserwald), then go uphill following the signs of the Rosalia circular hiking route to the Tobias cross. Then turn left and briefly leave the Rosalia circular hiking route, passing Krieriegel. Shortly afterward, the viewpoint is reached.
Continue on the path and soon turn left towards Lanzenkirchen, the path now follows the Rosalia circular hiking route again. Follow the path and signage further to Frohsdorf. At Felix Chapel, turn left onto the first part of the hike, cross the river, turn left and then right and follow Bahngasse to the station.
