Ghega Museum
The Ghega Museum covers around 60 m² and is dedicated to the life of Carl Ritter von Ghega, the ingenious builder of the Semmering Railway. Visitors can gain fascinating insights into the history of this technical masterpiece.

- To the Speckbacherhütte: Many paths lead to the rustic hut - for example as a circular tour from Payerbach or as a short variant directly from Breitenstein station. Once at the top, regional delicacies and a real natural gem await: the largest and oldest rhododendron in Europe at 131 m².
- Railroad hiking trail: The trail leads along the historic Semmering Railway from Breitenstein to Payerbach or Gloggnitz. Breathtaking views accompany the hike along the way.
