The Bergkäs Trail route from Aspang stretches over 11.5 kilometers with 280 meters of elevation and offers a challenging, varied, and breathtaking course for mountain bikers of all skill levels.

Use of the Wexl Trails network only with a valid trail entry ticket (online or available at sales points).
The starting point of the route is at Aspang-Markt station, it continues through the village to the Hoffeld district. From there via the Aspang Route #19 to the Bergkäserei. Definitely take a break here for a snack with homemade mountain cheese and watch the cows grazing on the pasture before descending via the Bergkäs Trail. Uprooted and not rocky, the trail winds downhill through a mix of traverses and flat, open curves. Over the Hottmannsgraben you reach the Unteraspang district and the starting point of the route.
If you want to ride again, you can pedal the Aspang Route uphill once more or comfortably get a shuttle from Aspang-Markt station by VOR bus to the Wexl Arena in St. Corona. Here is the VOR timetable.

From the trail center in Unternberg, you can reach the Bergkäserei and the entrance to the Bergkäs Trail again via the Aspang Route #19.

Public transport to the Wexl Trails is already easily possible on weekends from Friday to Sunday thanks to bike trailers on the VOR bus line. The VOR line runs the route from Aspang-Markt station via St. Corona and Kirchberg am Wechsel on Saturdays and Sundays at 7:35, 9:35, 11:35, 14:35, and 16:35 with a bike trailer (space for up to 20 bikes).
