Although the large reception building at Bad Fischau station is no longer in use, the station in the market town of the same name in the Lower Austrian district of Wiener Neustadt Land offers a warm and inviting backdrop.
Passengers at the single-track stop are informed about the current train service via loudspeaker announcements and timetable displays. Some parking spaces are also available on site for passengers changing trains, and tickets can be conveniently purchased from the ticket machines.

There are numerous hiking and walking routes to explore in the area around Bad Fischau. The Bad Fischau hiking starting point is just a 10-minute walk from the train station. Along the well-signposted paths, there are plenty of places to stop for refreshments, such as the Hubertushof Fromwald.
If you walk just two minutes further, children's eyes will be wide open, as the elephant playground is a natural amusement area at the edge of the forest, designed for romping around and getting some exercise. Comfortable seating for parents and children to have a snack and rest invites you to linger a little longer.
