This circular hike takes us from Rattersdorf to the Siebenbründ´l, up to the Althaus observation tower on Zeigerberg, from there down to Köszeg, and finally back to Rattersdorf

Route description "alpannonia" - circular route Rattersdorf-Köszeg-Rattersdorf
Starting from the church, we follow the Siebenbründlgasse towards Hungary and take the right path at the beginning of the forest area. Always uphill, after some time we reach a gravel road, which we follow to the left until a hairpin bend with information boards. After visiting the spring (down to the left), we climb the marked path on the right until we meet a crossing path, which we again follow to the left. Finally, we arrive at the Althaus observation tower and, after a view down onto the Pannonian plain, descend on the other side towards Köszeg. Always following the path downhill through the forest, we cross the winding road several times and reach the center of Köszeg.
From the center, we leave the town heading west and follow the signs to Kalvarienberg. Passing the St. Korona bunker, at the foot of Kalvarienberg you have the choice to hike left uphill to the Calvary Church and continue to Rattersdorf, or go straight on the direct path to Rattersdorf.
