Nestled in the Wolfsbergkogel, the station of the same name is located along the route of the Semmering Railway - a section of the Southern Railway. A covered waiting shelter has been set up for rail travelers.

- Regional trains to Payerbach-Reichenau and Semmering stop here.
- Trains to Vienna and Mürzzuschlag are also served during peak times.
- As Europe's first standard-gauge mountain railroad, the Semmering Railway has been a UNESCO World Hertige site since 1998. 14 tunnels, 16 viaducts and more than 100 arched bridges accompany passengers along this scenic route and make a journey a special experience.
20 shilling view
Located on the Wolfskogel, you can reach the "20 SchillingView" along the railroad hiking trail, from where you can enjoy a particularly good view of the "Kalte Rinne" viaduct, which was once printed on the 20 Schilling banknote.
