Although most of the trails are well-maintained hiking trails, you’ll still be traveling through hilly and mountainous terrain. Appropriate gear is recommended.

The start and finish of this scenic loop are located at the children’s playground near the Hotel Molzbachhof. 100 meters after the start, we turn left onto the paved hiking trail into the forest and reach the hamlet “Am Stein” after 500 meters. After 1 km, we head back into the forest, where we make a loop and reach the lowest point of the route just before the 2 km mark. At the 2.5-km mark, we turn left onto asphalt and then, at the 3-km mark, turn right toward the Sachsenbrunn Ponds.
The next section takes us through the forest on slightly uphill terrain to the Sachsenbrunn High School, which we pass after 3.7 km. At the 4-kilometer mark, we reach the Sachsenbrunn Ponds and the Hubertus Chapel. The final section takes us back down a gentle slope to the start and finish line at the Molzbachhof.

Take the A2 South Highway toward Graz. Take the Edlitz-Aspang exit. At the exit, keep left toward Aspang. Continue for about 2 km. After the ÖAMTC service station, turn right toward Feistritz-Kirchberg. After the town sign, turn left and follow the signs.
