Simas Lifts Ski Resort Skiing holidays without the stress

The insider’s tip for an undisturbed skiing holiday: the Simas lifts in Aspangberg-St. Peter

The Simas lifts at St. Corona am Wechsel are a small ski resort with affordable prices and friendly hospitality. For families, its proximity to St. Corona Family Ski Resort is appealing: The little ones can learn here and nobody gets left behind.

In St. Corona am Wechsel families can enjoy a stress-free skiing holiday: Adults can practise their parallel turns undisturbed at the Simas Lifts, while their children learn how to ski through play at St. Corona Family Ski Resort, just 5 minutes away by car. And who knows, maybe after a couple of days the kids will be allowed on Simas lifts’ ‘red’ piste. It certainly doesn’t lack in motivation.

Snow park and competition slopes
The 1046 metre long T-bar lift brings visitors to the top station at 1207 metres. Over 1.8 kilometres of moderately difficult pistes bring you down into the valley, past a competition slope for clubs and schools and past Simas Snow Park with rails, pole jam and kickers. A second smaller rope tow lift and floodlights are in planning.

11 snow cannons ensure the pistes will be open between December and March even when there is little snow. You can find good food at the Simas Hut restaurant with terrace, situated near the valley station, or in “Sumpi’s” Umbrella Bar at the top station. Ski tourers are also very welcome and may use the pistes.
