Relaxation and adrenaline on the Zauberberg

The Zauberberg cableway leads to the Hirschenkogel in Semmering

Do you want to recharge your batteries and relax during a panoramic hike? Or would you rather go to a bike park, and race down the mountain on a monster scooter or a bike? Anything is possible on Semmering in the Vienna Alps.

A journey on the Achter cableway up the 1,340m high Hirschenkogel takes just a few minutes. The panoramic hike begins in the direct vicinity of the summit station of the Zauberberg cableway. The route leads up the Sonnwendstein mountain, to the Pollereshütte. Follow the forest road until you reach the crossroads leading to the Sonnwendstein. Alternatively, there is the 7km-long Zauberberg hiking route. It leads past the Milleniumswarte to the Bergrestaurant Liechtensteinhaus, which is right next to the summit station of the Zauberberg cableway. Those who want to relax can travel back down into the valley on the cableway.

A monster scooter experience for the whole family
Everyone else can collect protectors and helmets from the summit station, and explore the 2.8km-long adventure trail. The Monster Scooter track leads into the valley, along dirt roads, and through shafts and rocky areas. You also go through tunnels, and pass magical figures in the forest.

Bikepark for everyone
The Bikepark for everyone has downhill and free-ride tracks, a slopestyle park, and much more. Eight different mountain bike tours lead outside the bike park, and around the Semmering area.

Those who would prefer a quieter route can take part in an off-road segway tour. 2-7 people can explore Semmering for about 2.5 hours, led by a tour guide.
