World in Motion! City.History.Mobility.

Lower Austria State Exhibition Region 2019

The history of mobility in Wiener Neustadt, the region and its links to the world - that is the theme of the 2019 State Exhibition in Wiener Neustadt.

The 2019 Lower Austria State Exhibition (30 March - 10 November) will make a lasting impression on Wiener Neustadt and the surrounding holiday regions in the Vienna Alps. The whole of the inner city around the historic Hauptplatz (main square) will be the setting for the State Exhibition. Multimedia installations, fascinating original artefacts and extraordinary biographies will make bygone eras come to life and encourage us to set trends for the future.

The venues will include the renovated exhibition spaces in the casemates - which used to be part of the city fortifications - as well as St. Peter an der Sperr (the adapted exhibition church) and the city museum. Meanwhile, the Theresian Military Academy and the historic Neukloster abbey will also open their gates.
