Description

Pleasant hiking trail starting at Ödenhof at 950 m elevation with panoramic views of Sonnwendstein, Rax and Schneeberg – continuing along the forest road to the water reservoir (rest area) and through the shaded forest to Almrauschhütte at 1,240 m elevation – further over Wendelin and Antrittsstein (legend point) to Kampsteiner Schwaig (1,400 m) – past the summit cross (1,467 m) to Herrgottschnitzerhütte (1,318 m) – storage pond (1,140 m) – Gasthof Orthof (1,000 m) – Ödenhof

Directions

From Vienna: A2 South motorway to the Edlitz-Aspang exit, then continue on B54 Wechsel federal road towards Aspang. Via L137 to St. Corona.

From Graz: On the A2 South motorway exit Zöbern direction Aspang - via L137 to St. Corona.

Parking

Take the train via Wiener Neustadt to Aspang and from there the regional bus 369 towards Kirchberg am Wechsel to the Wexl Arena St. Corona.

Recommendation: Get off at Wexl Arena St. Corona and cover the footpath via the Kugelbahnweg to Gasthof Orthof and from there join the Tut Gut Route 3.

Always bring suitable maps. Wear sturdy shoes adapted to the route, take sun and rain protection, as well as water and a small snack. Bring your mobile phone and store the mountain rescue emergency number: 140
